From Bob in Asbury Park

The face of New Jersey is ever changing.  As in life people change, ideas change, careers change, and sometimes the fundamental core of our every day beliefs begin  to change.  We begin as people and society to accept things a little more, look at careers more objectively, and develop tolerance for the things we really don't like, agree with or just can't change.  But certain facts still remain.  We are all human.  We strive every day to achieve more, fight aging a little better, save a few more dollars than last week, take more time with family and friends and I believe in most cases thank God for what we have and in some cases what we don't......

This website was originally designed to build awareness of the Great town of Ocean Grove but as time goes on I find myself talking more about the New Jersey Shore as a whole rather than each individual towns. As I find I appreciate towns like Sea Bright,  Point Pleasant and Long Beach Island I continually am brought back to my roots in Ocean Grove and Asbury Park.  As the revitalization of the town continues you can see the attitude of the people change as well.  The boardwalk in Asbury Park is bustling like it was in the old times.  Places like the Stone Pony and the Wonder Bar continue to pack people in every weekend with a variety of events and concerts.  Check out the latest activities at www.asburyparkboardwalk.com to find what's happening this week and for the weeks to come.  As Asbury park and Ocean Grove continue to become four season resort towns activities continue year round and Madison Marquette's commitment to Asbury Park shows the constant commitment to the growth and prosperity of this great town.  With that being said, my goal was to highlight the reasons why traveling to the New Jersey shore.  As many of you know Fernando and I purchased the famous Sixth Avenue House Bed and Breakfast located at 305 Sixth Avenue.   The Sixth Avenue House Bed and Breakfast is best known for being the first Bed and Breakfast in Asbury Park.  It is also known as the Only Pet Friendly Bed and Breakfast in Asbury Park and Ocean Grove.  Now more than ever the New Jersey Shore has more appeal to many travelers with gas prices are still low and staying local is now the in thing.  What better time to come down to the shore and relax.  But as with time ideas change, we see more, explore more and learn to appreciate not only your own home town but the surrounding areas.  As my first love will always be Asbury Park and Ocean Grove, I ask you to come visit us at the Sixth Avenue House Bed and Breakfast and explore New Jersey.  Come visit, explore and fall in love as I have with New Jersey........
